Streakers window cleaners: We do it right the first time

We have been working hard this summer cleaning windows for residents of Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas. If you have dirty windows, screens, tracks, or sills... give us and a call and we'll swing by to give you a FREE estimate today.

Here's a complete description of how we clean your windows EVERY time:
  1. We start by removing and hand washing both sides (and edges) of every screen.
  2. Then, we begin cleaning the outside of your windows first, using a soft strip washer and a concentrated window cleaning solution. This solution will make your windows shine.
  3. We then use a scraper to get off paint overspray, bug marks, sap, etc.
  4. After thoroughly wetting the window again with our strip washer and solution, we squeegee the water off and towel dry around the edges where water collects.
  5. After the outside windows are done, we'll then move our operation inside and repeat the steps 2-4.
  6. When we're inside, we clean the window tracks and window sills.
  7. When cleaning the sills, we use a wire brush to loosen the dirt build-up. Once the dirt has been loosened, we shop-vac the sills and tracks. The final step is to wipe down the sills and tracks with a damp towel.
  8. Next, it's now time to put all the clean screens back in their proper place.
  9. To finish up, we will walk around your home to double check the windows and put all of your furniture back in its original position.
  10. Finally, we receive payment if you are completely satisfied, and set up an appointment for your next window cleaning with Streakers, Inc.

STREAKERS, INC. - Fayetteville's friendly and meticulous window cleaning company

4-step Professional Window Cleaning System
Your four steps to happiness and clean windows are below:
STEP 1:
A mild detergent solution will be applied directly to the glass frame, and sill of each of your home's windows. This will ensure that all existing grime, dirt, and related kinds of buildup are properly and sufficiently loosened before we proceed.

The use of the specialized soft fabric tool seen above ensures that your glass will not be harmed in any way, and allows our technicians to adequately complete this step with only minimal pressure on your glass.
STEP 2:
Before proceeding with the actual cleaning of the glass, excess cleaning solution will be removed from your frames and sills first. Completing this step BEFORE your glass is cleaned ensures a far superior level of quality during the cleaning stage that follows.

Note: If there is paint on your windows, we will also remove it at this point using various effective methods.
STEP 3:
Next, we will thoroughly and professionally clean your windows using the best tools for the specific window involved.

We regularly use professional grade squeegees ranging from 6'' to 18''.

As seen in the photograph above, if your home's glass includes tedious french windows, you can count on them turning out fantastic with this proven cleaning method!
STEP 4:
Lastly, once the glass has been properly cleaned, attention will be given to your frames and sills of your window again, to ensure that any remaining residue is removed, and your glass sparkles.

Traditionally, we recommend that the EXTERIOR of your home's windows be cleaned first, since they are usually in poorer condition initially, and require more time and attention.

Call us right now at (903) 280-1378 for your free estimate!
There is no risk, and your happiness is 100% guaranteed!

Waking up with a smile everyday is a habit.

I'm (only/already) twenty-five years old!

Today is not my birthday, but recently I have thought, "I'm twenty-five years old...what should I do with my life?" My mind goes back and forth from wanting to work really hard because I'm 'grown up' now and wanting to travel, stay up late, eat what I want, etc. I'm not going to put a deadline on deciding which is the right thing to do, but I have thought about this many times since the last time I blew out the candles on my birthday cake.

One thing I am certain about, is that I will wake up with a smile on my face every single day no matter which path I choose and how soon that happens.

One freezing cold morning in February, my mother told me that I should get in the habit of giving thanks to God for everything. Yes, she said and meant EVERY-thing. We were discussing life in general, and I had recently been flooded out of my apartment. I was down about having to move all my stuff out, throwing things away that had been damaged by the water, and I was trying to fix the random problems that came with the flood. Towards the end of our discussion, I told her that I agreed with her suggestion, and I would give it a go. That day and that suggestion made a very positive impact on my life.

Since then, I have said "thanks" for a variety of things. The good, bad, and ugly have all received a sincere thanks from that day forward. It is difficult and sometimes awkward, even if I'm just saying it to myself. I haven't told her out loud, but I'm sure she can tell that life has become a lot smoother than that cold morning in February when my apartment was flooding (sidenote: the water was coming through the roof. Every light fixture and vent in my apartment had turned into a mini shower).

During my life (and the past five months specifically), I have been very blessed because of the fact that I make an effort to give thanks for everything. I hope that you too will try to wake up with a smile on your face and give thanks for everything that happens. The good and the bad (and ugly). We only get one shot at life, and it's up to us how well it turns out. Great things are going to happen, and horrible things are going to happen. I promise that I will give thanks either way. I am happy and rock on a smile on my face because I am able to experience those things and continue to learn everyday.

p.s. We at Streakers, Inc. are REALLY awesome at cleaning windows! Give me a call today at (903) 280-1378 for your free estimate.

Summertime

Summertime by:
Cem Adrian, Luis Arcaraz, Art Blakey, Charlotte Church, Jon Coltrane, Perry Como, Fantasia Barrino, Bing Crosby & Matty Malneck, Bob Crosby & his Orchestra, Deep Dive Corp., Doc Watson, The Doors, Tal Farlow, Frances Faye, Peter Gabriel, Al Gallodoro, Wayne Hancock, Richard Hayes (with the Eddie Sauter orchestra), Billie Holiday, Anne Jamison, Janis Joplin, Sammy Kaye's Orchestra, Angélique Kidjo, Jerry Kruger and her Orchestra, Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians, Gordon MacRae, Yehudi Menuhin and Stéphane Grappelli, Joni Mitchell & Herbie Hancock, Morcheeba, Charlie Parker String Ensemble, Jane Pickens, Boyd Raeburn and his Orchestra, Red Saunders and his Orchestra, Charlie Spivak and his Orchestra, Billy Stewart, Sublime, Ten Years After, Sarah Vaughan, The Zombies, and Flowers.

It's summertime and all of the previously listed artists have sang a song about it. All the real credit for the song goes to Gershwin, but these people have given it their go and some have released some impressive versions.

We (everyone that lives in Fayetteville, AR) have been blessed with two days of sunshine in a row, and the temperature has been perfect. We at Streakers haven't written on our site lately because NOTHING has been going on in the land of window cleaning. The continuous rain caused us to hang up our residential squeegee belts for a little while, but we did continue to clean the store front customers that we cater to... so we didn't lose our touch. We seized the opportunity to do a little traveling, we caught up with some old friends (made a lot of new ones), and we did a lot of planning for the summer. We all agreed today that it's great to have the blue skies and sunshine back in our lives.

It feels like it's opening day for window cleaning so Streakers, Inc. has chosen to extend our FREE screens and sills cleaning* for the entire summer. That alone is enough savings to have a fantastic meal at a restaurant like the 36 Club, or take a nice weekend getaway to Little Rock, Tulsa, OKC, KC or Eureka.

We are including this offer for free because it is the most time consuming part of cleaning windows. This step is very tedious, but we fill that customers are missing out on the complete package when they don't have clean sills or screens. Instead of negotiating different prices with everyone on how long it will take us to clean the screens and sills, what we think it's worth, etc...we'll just do it for free, every time, for the rest of the summer. We will include this FREE offer for EVERYONE who completes at least one interior and exterior window cleaning.

Again, thank you ALL for waiting patiently with us to have your windows cleaned. It wouldn't have made much sense to do it in the middle of all those crazy storms that we went through, but now it's finally time for Streakers, Inc. (the friendly and meticulous window cleaners) to get back to work.

FREE ESTIMATES and FREE SCREENS/SILLS for the entire summer 2009.

Rain...

First things first - I'm VERY thankful to have a roof over my head to keep me dry.

Now that I've given my thanks, I'd like to say "RAIN, PLEASE GO AWAY!" This rain has become a huge headache for my little window cleaning business, but even more of a headache to all of you loyal Streakers customers that are waiting patiently to have your windows cleaned. Thank you for your patience. I would love to make the rain stop so that together we can get started with your Spring cleaning, but my reverse rain dancing skills seem to be lacking. Just know, that as soon as the sun does decide to come out and shine for us, my team of professional window cleaners will be very eager to give your family the clear view of Northwest Arkansas that you deserve.

Also, all fliers that are currently out (possibly in your hand right now) will be recognized until the end of May. I originally posted a deadline for the first of May to receive a free lunch to Mama Dean's Soul Food Kitchen with every interior and exterior window cleaning completed, but the ice storm, rain, and all around bad weather has caused a lot of my loyal customers concern and reason to wait to have their windows cleaned. I'm happy to extend this promotion until the end of this month so that all of you will have the opportunity to experience the tasty treats from Mama Dean's while our professionals give your windows a streak free shine.

I hope everyone has stayed dry during this wet season, the sunshine should be just around the corner.
